The Bach Ma Countryside Discovery program offers a slow, peaceful, and deeply authentic glimpse into rural life in Vietnam. Over 3 days and 2 nights, travelers will wander through village paths, learn to cook traditional dishes, explore the local market, connect with a warmhearted host family, and enjoy the refreshing beauty of nature.
The journey also includes highlights such as Truc Lam Zen Monastery, Cau Hai Lagoon, and a special activity “Bach Ma Forest Discovery”, where guests can truly connect with the natural wonders of the Bach Ma region.

Day 1 – Welcome to Me Ly Homestay – Bach Ma Countryside
Pick-up from Hue or Da Nang and transfer to Me Ly Homestay.
Welcome herbal tea and local snacks.
Introduction to local culture and trip briefing.
Explore the countryside by bicycle or on foot with a local guide. (Depending on weather conditions and actual needs, Omely will design suitable exploration spots).
Traditional home-cooked dinner and cultural exchange with the host family.

Enjoy the view of the Bạch Mã mountains and forest from our Homestay’s Viewpoint Tower
Day 2 – Local Market · Cooking Class · Truc Lam Zen Monastery
Breakfast and morning coffee in a peaceful village setting07:30 – Visit the local market with a villager

Practice simple Vietnamese phrases
Midday – Vietnamese Cooking Class
- Learn to cook 3 signature dishes from Central Vietnam
- Enjoy the meal you prepare yourself
Afternoon: Explore Truc Lam Zen Monastery
(Weather–dependent; activities may vary)
- Boat ride across Truoi Lake with its crystal–clear water
- Leisure walk through the tranquil monastery grounds
- Listen to the guide’s stories about Buddhist teachings, spiritual values, and the remarkable history of this sacred place
Evening: Cultural Gathering
- Enjoy local rice wine and traditional snacks
- Listen to folk tales and stories of rural life
- Music sharing or learning Vietnamese proverbs (optional)

Experience a boat ride to Trúc Lâm Zen Monastery
Day 3 – Bach Ma Forest Discovery & Wild Birdwatching
Breakfast and coffee at the Home Garden.
Begin the Bach Ma Forest Discovery program. (Based on the needs, fitness level, and age of each group, Omely will design a suitable trail to maximize the personal experience).
Enjoy a picnic lunch by the stream inside the forest.
Return to the Homestay to rest and enjoy a herbal foot soak.
Program concludes. Warm farewell and transfer back.
